The flora and fauna of the "Cerro Cahuí" is fascinating.
The Posada del Cerro is situated adjacent to the biotop "Cerro Cahuí", which allows you to experience closely the movements, sounds and aromas of nature.
Those who stay at the Posada del Cerro have to be prepared to be woken up at night by the howler monkeys and to be watched by the curious bird Motmot whilst having breakfast. The Toucans, Kinkajou and White-nosed Coati could be interested in your fruits, left unprotected on the terrace of your accommodation.
Should you not receive a visit by the bordering settlers of the forest during your stay at the Posada del Cerro, you can go and see them at their home.
