The Posada del Cerro offers all you are looking for in the Petén area
Palms, stones and wood form the houses of the Posada del Cerro which you find directly at the entrance to the protected area "Biotopo Cerro Cahui".
The design of its buildings merges harmonically into the subtropical ambience of the lake Petén Itzá spreading out in front of the Posada del Cerro.
The Apartments
The two nice and cosy apartments have a double bed and a sofa-bed and offer still enough space for an additional guest. There is also a fully equipped kitchen to increase your independence and comfort. From the balcony you have a spectacular view on the lake.
The Rooms
The houses are the typical local rancho type, developed and adapted to the taste of our guests. Our rooms are very comfortable and combine elegance and comfort with an adventurous ambience.
The Guesthouse
The Guest house "Mono" has enough space for eight beds. It is a great alternative for big families or travelers who likes to share their experience.
The Restaurant
The restaurant is only for guests of the Posada del Cerro and offers various dishes.
